This  is  a   rare  Helmet.  Worn  by  the  Pre-war SS Leibstandarte( life  guard) Hitlers  personnel body guard  unit. This  early  formation   also commonly  used  WW1  M18 Helmets  painted  black  with  the  double  decals  applied.  The  most unusual feature  is  the use of  the  tri-colour  shield, used  by  Army  units..
