WW2 German luftschutz Medal 2nd class- Sonnderklasse. Fine reproduction with a great slightly aged finish. WW2 German Air defense medal reproduction. Referred to as the air defence decoration. This medal was instituted 30th January 1938. It came in to grades. The 2nd class version was a grey metal, usually a Zinc alloy or aluminium. So a variety of weights can be found among original examples. The 1st class was a gold cross and is very rare, less than 200 examples were awarded. Both grades came with a very attractive lilac ribbon bordered in white red and black.
SONNDERKLASSE `special quality`
Panzer Assault Badge 25 Silver `Sonnderklasse`. All sonnderklasse badges are made in Europe. Many of these badges are made using the original moulds (or remakes of them) and tools which were bought from the factories when they closed, mostly in the 1960`s and 70`s. Even some of the original flaws have being preserved to gain the highest level of authenticity. The old metals like nickel and zinc and kriegsmetal are not really possible to recreate so metals of similar properties and weights are used. All pins and catches are accurate for each badge and made using the original tools. They are also very strong. These are Museum quality reproduction as close to an original as you can get for a fraction of the price.
