This is the the 2nd pattern version it followed the M38 smock, the only only major difference was the removal of the elasticated neck. Check out any pictures of the 2nd SS Das Reich division and they are always wearing this smock. Was worn right up to the end of the war. Our reproduction smock is a very accurate copy and has the oakleaf underprint, a common feature of many Planetree smocks.
